Perhaps a percentage of secular school taxes paid by those parents could be applicable to private school tuition or be used to purchase curriculum and other teaching materials for parents who home school.

Halloween is an event that was developed and promoted by marketers beginning in the 1950’s. Prior to that time period children went door to door on Thanksgiving Day asking for “a treat for Thanksgiving”. Over time, Halloween has evolved into the current offerings of some extremely gruesome costumes and evil decorations that serve the purposes of evil and the occult. Therefore, a suggestion is to replace the Halloween event with a day designated for Mardi Gras or Thanksgiving where children wear benevolent costumes and go door to door to neighbors to extend good wishes and ask for treats.
