To eliminate the accusations by some regarding possible “thefts” of office supplies, employees should consider purchasing their own office supplies to provide for the needs of their job. If employers believe they have an obligation to provide for those supplies, then perhaps a small stipend can be added to the paycheck of the employee to provide for the supplies necessary to accomplish a job or the employee can file an office expense report for money spent for office supplies, with the employer. Office supplies, also include school supplies and any other supplies given to government workers for job use only. Also, be advised that these little thefts, that most believe to be inconsequential or a “job perk”, result in others stealing thousands, millions, and billions of currency from all people.
One has noted in some jobs that soon after a job requirement or system is thoroughly understood and mastered by the employees, the employer then changes the system creating anxieties in the workers until a competent level of proficiency is once again obtained. Then the employer changes the system again and again which may eventually lead to mental and physical illnesses in employees.
